Q: How much should I take?

If your customer is new to cannabis, we suggest starting them off with a lower dosage such as 1-5mg until they know how their body responds. If you are speaking with an experienced consumer, we suggest sticking to 10mg per single serving, as anything more than that may yield different results than they’re searching for. Q: How will I feel?

We love how unique everyone is, but it poses some issues with predicting how someone will feel. Remember that CBD is most commonly associated with calming effects, while THC is commonly associated with a psychoactive "high" feeling. It’s best to recommend that your customers check in with themselves after consuming, and even have someone around them to guide them as they become more familiar with how their body reacts to edibles.

Q: Which strain is this?

Sunbaked Goods edibles are made with pure THC oil. This is because it lacks flavor and aroma, so we are able to deliver a delicious, consistent dose every time. Customers are becoming more familiar with terms such as “indica” and “sativa”, as well as the effects they may experience from certain terpenes after consumption. Although we are learning more every day, there is no definitive research that shows our bodies can fully absorb these terpenes through the digestion process. Therefore, we focus on consistency and taste, rather than strain-specific products.

Q: How long will it take to kick in? is it fast acting?

Edibles usually take 20-60 minutes to kick in but can take longer based on many factors, like metabolism, GI issues, time of day, how much you have eaten, and more. We recommend you “start low and go slow.” Take a low dose of edibles and wait at least 45-90 minutes. If you want more effects after that time period, then take more edibles. As we know, edibles can affect everyone differently. Many brands now promote “Fast-Acting” formulas that deliver cannabinoids in a nanoemulsion. Nanoemulsions encapsulate THC molecules in tiny droplets before they are ingested, allowing for the cannabinoids to easily bypass many metabolic functions and absorb directly into the circulatory system. Sunbaked does not use nanoemulsions because we want to deliver the best product without overpromising and underdelivering.
